Warwick owners please help!

Hi,
I have one suspicious thing with my Dolphin Pro I.
The thickness of its fingerboard is assymetrical.
Its thicker at the 1st string side and thiner at the 4th string side as the pics below.
Its thickness is 5mm on the 1st string side and 4mm on the 4th string side.
As you can see in the second picture, the side dot markers are almost at the bottom of the fingerboard not in the middle.
Is this normal on other Warwicks?
I'm afraid the fingerboard has been off, sanded, and glued back for some reason.
Does anyone have similar issue with a Warwick with Just-a-nut I?

Sorry, but I'm not seeing the pics in your post.

Aside from the visual appearance, how's the neck in terms of playability?

The nut has had work done on it of some sort. The finger board looks normal

Thanks Zooberwerx, I reposted the pics.
Well, playability is not bad.
Strings are set pretty low, neck is straight.
Actually there are no big problems in playing it but assymetric thickness is unusual.
This bass is second handed. I wonder if it has gone thru some repairs that I don't know

Looks to me like there's an asymmetrical shim under the nut to possibly keep the individual nut saddles closer to the same adjustment. That's not the fingerboard you're seeing though.
As far as the other issue, How's it play?
Looks like that truss rod has been buggered a bit.

Looks like maybe a shim under the nut, though I can't be sure as I don't have the brass JAN on mine, but the nut on my Wick sits after (or just before, depending on your frame of reference) the fingerboard, not over it. Mine has the nut directly on top of the headstock veneer.

Ahhhh....much better! Looks like there's some kind of shim under the nut. Don't sweat the variances in FB thickness. Keep in mind that the builder glues / clamps the fretboard then re-planes to the proper profile before installing the frets. I've seen worse in a handful of high-end US basses...they shall remain nameless. Enjoy the lumber!

Yes, right. It hurts but I'm gonna forget about it until I do have to use that.

Thank you, now I feel more comfortable.
As long as the bass sounds and plays well, I better live with it.
The FB-neck joint looks too clean to be a re-glued one, doesn't it?

i can't fathom why someone would put a shim under an adjustable nut like that, but the fingerboard is fine
