Warwick Streamer tail piece does not fit into Thumbīs route???

Hi everybody,

I have just purchased a second hand Warwick Streamer LX4 from 2010.
It comes with crome hardware and I do not like it very much.
I firstly thought about buying new black hardware but I donīt have a lot of cash to spare right now, so I finally decided to sawp the crome hardware for the black thatīs in my 2007 Thumb.

Guess what?

The black hardware fits perfectly into the Streamer, but the crome tail piece of the bridge does not fit into the Thumb!

Itīs a matter of milimeters, but it does not fit.

I did not expect this and now I do not know what to do.
Maybe some light hits with a hammer will do...
Maybe I can take the Thumb to a luthier to do the job...

I was again thinking about buying a new tail piece but...what if it does not fit either?

Has this ever happended to you or have you ever heard something like this?

Please help

It could be that the tolerances are close enough that it might be a tight fit. I definitely would take it to a luthier instead of using blunt force.
