Weak E String

Sign in to disble this ad
Why would my E be weaker than my A. I've put two new sets of strings, and just had it setup. Only thing I can think is it's my new Markbass 210 combo. I've even rolled off my mid lows and my A and below are still louder than my E. I never noticed it before changing amps.
Any Help?

what kind of bass are you playing?? what pickups are you using?

IF you have more than one pickup having you tried switching between the neck and bridge???

Try adjusting the pickuo height to make it closer to the E string. Also a heavier gauge E string will be tighter therefore louder.
