Wearing out a new pickguard

You know when an old bass has a fantastic faded finish and aged hardware? A new pickguard sticks out like a sore thumb. Any way to prematurely age a new pickguard?

Take off the pickguard, hold a pick in each hand, and start "picking" (scratching) at it.

Edit: also, turn it upside-down on a hardwood floor and put your foot on it and slide it around over the floor.

+1 on the pick in each hand. or you could always use it as a skateboard on a paved road, down a hill. maybe putting it in an oven, or keeping it underwatter for a long period of time. yeah, pretty much anything

Does anyone make pre-aged pickguards?
