alright.. i play a warwick corvette $$.. i live in new delhi
and i've just gotten home from san francisco yesterday..
the bass was checked in the cargo, in an excuse of a hard case (damn you gator)..
the flight was from san francisco to london.. which is about
1o hours.. with a 1o hour stop over in london.. followed by
a 8 hour flight back to delhi..
naturally, the bass froze in the cargo.. and the
temperature in delhi.. is a Comfortable 40 degree celsius
(about 104 F) and its humid as hell ..
what do i Do, so things don't start snapping off..
how long do i wait before i play?

You should leave it in the case until the bass reaches room temp...shouldn't be longer than a couple hours.

Yep.. Thats what I'd also do. Stringed wooden instruments should never be played right after enduring extremes like that. Until as Jimmy has stated, it becomes acclimated to ambient temperature and humidity. Just like you after after a long flight, your bass needs a relaxing respite
