Weird relief issue (for me, at least)

Hi everybody.

After loading this bass with a fresh set of Rotosound flats standard gauge and letting the instrument to get used to the new strings (I put them two days ago), I notice that there's more relief on the bass side of the neck than on the treble side. I have no problem on removing it one more time and tighten the truss rod a bit more, but if I do this, the treble side will be backbowed, for sure (it is almost straight right now). Is it better to leave it alone, or is there a workaround for this? Thank you in advance!

What was it like before you put the new strings on? From your description it sound like the neck is twisted, which I wouldn't think would happen in 2 days. If that's the case, I don't think there is a remedy other than replacement.

It had a set of La Bella Hard Rockin' Steels light gauge (.040) and I didn't notice that problem then. The neck just had a bit more relief than desired and I removed it to tighten the truss rod. After that it was almost straight, but I thought "well, next week I'm going to put heavier strings (flats are impossible to get here), so it will be perfect". I didn't expect this result.
