weird twangy noise when press on fret

Got a new (to me) Ibanez SRX400 and i have noticed on the D and G string at the 10th fret when I press down on it it makes a twangy noise that is easily heard even when playing the note. I have tried lowering and raising the string height and I still cannot get it to go away.
What should I do?

You mean fret buzz? First check to see if you have enough neck relief, secondly check your action height - in that order.
