Which whammy??

It's been eons since I've owned (or played) a whammy bar-equipped bass. At one brief point in the late 80's,I owned a Peavey Dyna-Bass with a Kahler. Man,I milked that Kahler like a stud-horse during mating(Hey,it was the 80's!!)....I just wasn't mature enough,musically,to have one back then. Hell,I don't know if I'm mature enough now!
So,I see that Hipshot has come out with their own version.

The question's simple:Which product is best?? The Original Kahler?? Or,the Hipshot??

I personally prefer the Hipshot. It feels sturdier and gives a better sound in my opinion.
