What the best way to..

what the best way to learn how to maintenance and setup your bass...or electric guitar (i want to get alot of experence and to do setup for pepole...for money of course)

soo...i should to learn from the internet guide?
or to buy a book?,if these some good book that teach you these subject in a expansion way i well be happy to know the name!
