What bridge is this body drilled for? Help!

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought a bass body on the cheap and I'm quite confused on the bridge. Not really sure what's going on here. Can anyone help me out? I see that it's drilled for string-through, but the placement seems odd...can anyone help me out? I could be completely off, and this could be really easy. Just looking for an answer, thanks.

Looks to be just a normaly fender type bridge. The extra holes could be string through holes, or maybe the bridge has been swapped before.

Well right. The extra four holes are string through holes. But aren't they usually in a straight line with the drilled holes?

Probably a typical Fender bridge and some thru-body holes. They will be offset and larger.

No. Common garden variety Fender type bridge. If another bridge's mounting holes don't line up with these, drill new ones.
