What can I use to clean the hardware on my bass

I own a ESP LTD FSeries-155DX 5string and got some wood cleaner on the bridge and it wont come off, the hardware is black nickel.

I would think the Brasso would be okay, just check the can and make sure its good on Nickle and won't scratch it.
