What do I use to fill in the holes were the old pickups were?

Hey,

I have a Yamaha Motion B bass that I have had
20 years.
The original pick ups were replaced with some EMG's.
Sounds great but these pick ups are smaller
and thus there are holes around them with the outline
of the larger pick ups.
Very unsightly! I am tired of looking at it all this time.
What is the easiest way to make it look better?
A pick guard would be HUGE. Maybe two mini
pick gaurds?
I have stickers over it now.
"this one goes to 11". hahahaha.
I need to do something with it!
Any ideas?

Why not have some extra-wide pickup surround rings made? Custom shops can do that. Pictures would help - it's hard to be sure what will work without seeing it.
