What finish on an Ibanez Doug Wimbish?

I've just bought myself an Ibanez Doug Wimbish that's had a nasty accident and needs part of the lower body replaced as its going to be easier than piecing everything together again.

Does anyone know what type of finish is used on it?

I'm guessing some sort of transparent poly.

Any ideas as there doesn't seem to be any way to contact Ibanez directly, only through the distributors.
