What in the heck is making the open strings buzz?

They're not actually touching the neck at any point, but if I play them hard and dig in the just buzz........is my neck too straight?

I'm guessing it's not an angled peg board. The string may be sitting too high on the post of the tuning peg. Loosen the string and push the string as close to the bass as possible while retightening.

Did that work?

could be; not enough neck relief, action too low at bridge, nut cut too deep, a high fret some where, crappy strings or any combination of previously mentioned items.
probably time for a good a set up.

I noticed sometimes My saddles will buzz on each other if theres like a hair of space where the buzz of the string will vibrate the saddle clicking on the one next to it I figured this out because when I pushed on the saddle towards the other one it stopped buzzing. I don't know why I just always tighten or loosen the saddle barely and it goes away. But it is only from experience what I've done. If there is any other reason please let me know? haha

Above are all good choices of starting places.

Check the neck relief first because this time of year is the time for issues.
