Ok my bass was perfectly set up action was fine had the slight bow for relief, and sounded great. I went to visit a buddy over the weekend, and when I came back home my bass had a backbow, although it still sounds good. This is starting to piss me of a little bit.Its not a huge bow but its there and it wasnt before, and I meen it no like I cant adjust or anything but I've had to make the same adjustment in the past. I'm starting to think my neck has a mind of its own can somebody tell me whats up?

Humidity
Temperature
String tension

Any change in any of these will cause a change in neck relief. If your weather has changed recently, you moved it to an air conditioned space from non, etc, it will shift for a while until it settles in. No big deal - it's what wood does . . . .

It's not string tension I have the same gauge strings and a low set action so it not pulling on my neck alot. The weather does change from time to time its muggy and then it cool and muggy and cool, I keep my guitar on a stand, would it be best if I kept in a case, or would that not make a difference.

Same gauage string???? but same exact string. Different brands use different size and types of core wire for the same guage, creating different string tension.
Weather is generally the biggest cause of slight changes in bass necks. The thiner the neck and the lower the action, the more noticable the change.
