what is a pot?

It's kind of hard to search with the wordw what is a not included.

What is a pot? Any websites that explain everything i need to know fully?

They're the knobs that control everything on your bass and amp. It's actually short hand for Potentiometer. Different ones will affect different settings as well, and are almost always measured by their resistance (I think, right?), usually like 25K, 250K 500K etc. etc.
