What to use to adjust the truss rod on my Peavey T-20?!

Sign in to disble this ad
My action is a little high on my T-20, so i removed the truss rod cover to decrease a slight bow in the neck.... and the truss rod isn't... normal?

Is/was there a Peavey-specific truss wrench?

There was a Peavey specific truss rod wrench that was made out of formed metal tubing. I think the way they did things you either need the tool or something with a real thin wall.

Call Peavey:
Parts Dept. 1-877-732-8391 Ext. #1386 (I hope that's still correct)

item #75031006

Or machine down a cheapo 5/16" socket to thin the walls down.

aLLPARTS SELLS A 5/16.

Don't waste your time with a socket when the safe tool is $6

It's the same size as "Gibson"
