what wires to use for bass?

i am getting ready to wire my p bass, i want to make sure i am using the right wire. i went to radio shack and they have tons of different cables and wires, here are the ones i think could possibly be used on a bass, wrapping wire, test probe wire, and hook-up wire, i think that hook up wire is the one to use but not sure, what wire do i use?

20 or 22 ga wire. i like stranded.
