It's very possible that the fret has adjusted due to humidity, neck settling, etc. That's what it sounds like to me, at least.
Did you check the neck relief first, to make sure? If it's a fret that needs dressing/re-seating, it's a simple job that your luthier can do and it won't cost much.
So check your neck relief first and, if it's fine, take it to your luthier and have him take a look.
