Where can I buy a legit Fender US Jazz 5 neck post-2008?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,

I love my 2008 Fender American Standard Jazz 5, but want to be able to switch from rosewood to maple neck.

Where can I buy a neck that will fit? I would like to get a legit Fender, or at least Fender licensed neck. It needs to fit the pocket of a 2008 model, which is when they stepped their game up a bit, and I think maybe the dimensions are different now?

Thanks a lot!

Matt

you're better off doing a trade for what you want here on TB, and BTW I was on a maple fretboard kick for a while, now I'm back to rosewood.

Great. The reason I want both necks is for the purpose of changing it for special sessions that need rosewood. Otherwise I really prefer maple especially live.

Lol!

Honestly, if you can't understand why someone would want a maple fb rather than rosewood, then you probably can't tell the difference of how it sounds, anyway.

Once someone tried to tell me body woods didn't make a difference. Hmm...

EDIT: Oh I see he prefers maple. Still, of course you need tonal variety!
