Where to find nuts for CTS pots

Sign in to disble this ad
I ordered some pots from bassparts resource and they only have one nut and i need 2 to get a proper height on them. I went to the hardware store and all they had was monster size nuts that fit, but were entirely too big. I think what im looking for is called a mounting nut. Does anybody know where i can buy maby 10 of these. I know stewmac.com sells a bag of 50 or something like that but i really only need 4.

The dress nut and washers from Guitarelectronics.com for output jacks fit the CTS pots. I replaced my silver ones with black ones from there a couple weeks ago.

The only problem here is that for the price of the 4 i need, would be $4.00 for 4 at guitarelectronics, or $4 for 50 at stew mac, and i deff. dont need 50.

you may have to search some guitar stores. Often, they have bins of spare nuts and screws laying around

I would buy 50...you never know what other projects you might need them for later.
