Sign in to disble this ad
Can anyone rec a good place to get a black abalone pickguard that will fit a warmoth jazz?

Not interested in getting one from WD music. I just emailed Warmoth to see if they offer one "off the menu."

Any other ideas?

Try Chandler: http://pickguards.us/price_jazzbass.html

Abalone and Black Pearl are under Group E. I bet you could call them and describe the aesthetic you wish to achieve and they would specially select a blank for you based on your figuring desires.

I have a black pearl Chandler on my Jazz V and love it. Very well made.

I've been emailing around. Haven't heard back from Chandler yet. Warmoth recommended Terrapin, so I'm eager to hear back from them too.
