widening the E nut slot for BEAD tuning

If I widen the E nut slot for BEAD tuning and dont like it, will I be able to go back to regular EADG tuning without the E moving around? Its a graphite nut if that makes a difference, which I doubt.

You just bought a five string! What do you need a BEAD four-banger for? (How is your bass working out, by the way?)

Hey Micheal the 5 string is fine. I really like the pickups. However, I can easily do without the G string and prefer a thinner neck with wider spacing that i get from geddy/moses neck.

Like I said the sx is fine. however, i do find the string spacing tight.
