Will a Squier VM Jazz control plate accept CTS pots?

Or will I have to ream out the holes?

NOT looking forward to that if that's what needs to be done...

Don't know the answer, BUT if you do have to ream it out...are you worried about messing up your control plate? If so, just buy another one to work on. They're like $10.

I put CTS pots in my VM Jazz, I did have to do a minor bit of filing in the holes to get them to fit, but not a whole lot. Just do it bit by bit and you won't screw up the control plate. But they will fit in the control plate eventually, and also fit in the actual cavity.

I'm going to check out some local stores to see if they have any control plates. If not, I'm breaking out the file.
