If you are looking at the 70's 3 bolt plates, the strat plate is smaller than the jazz bass plate. I am not sure about the 4 bolt plates

Sorry, should have mentioned the one in question is a 4 bolt plate. Thanks.

I'm almost positive neck plates are interchangeable between all Fenders, guitar and bass.
