Wondering about the set up for my bass? Like would it need another adjustment?

So I ordered one of those ibanez beginner basses earlier this year and the action was so low that I couldn't play it. I took it to a shop and they took off the stock d'daddario strings and put some dr highbeams which are stainless steel and roundwound on them. All the fret buzz was gone and they fix my neck because it was warped really bad. This was in the end of august. The bass plays fine now but I am getting fret buzz at the first fret on all the strings. Should I take it again to be fixed on? Or should I get some different strings? I hear how strings can cause tension or something like that. Other that that, the bass plays fine above the first fret. I was wondering would it need another adjustment.

Here is the bass I have:

It may need to have the action raised, though I'm suspecting the nut may be cut too deeply. That would require removal/raising or replacement of the nut.

It's VERY common, especially on inexpensive instruments, for the neck to change shape as the seasons change. So if you have recently begin to run your furnace, or are experiencing a very wet seasonal change....you can expect the neck to need adjusting. Should be no more than a truss rod adjustment.....Once the bass gets to be three or four years old this tendancy to change shape will diminish.

Loosen the truss rod a quarter turn and see if it gets better.

+1 - Yes check your neck relief - My SR400QM came with the neck set flat which I immediately remedied (to a credit cards clearance). The saddles were set real low too - I raised them a little with a Stew-Mac string action gauge. Stock strings are a 45105 set.

Thanks for all the info; but I am going to get someone to look at because I am new to this and don't want to mess my bass up.
