wooden bridge for a semi hollowbody

Sign in to disble this ad
I was wondering if any might have or have an idea where to look for a wooden bridge for an old semi hollow body bass.

the bass is an old Yamaha SA-70b, my brother mutilated about 12yrs ago, i found it behind a door in a garage, defretted with a ton of wood putty on the neck.

i've put it back together somewhat, but its still missing the bridge
i have had no luck searching the internet, just wondered if anybody just happened to have one lying around they would part with or know a specific place i might find one

thanx

What is the spacing? Will the Hofner bridge work.

I've seen the Hofner-style bridges on Ebay as well:

...and while doing a quick search I found this one, which looks VERY nice!

the string spacing at just an eyeballs guess looks to be in the range of about .75, any idea on what the hofner is?
