It's worth a try IMO if you are interested in a high mass bridge. It's very possible that those three screw holes will line up with three of the five Fender standard holes. It's possible it was designed specifically to work in that setup. It's also possible that it won't work at all.

They say "Note that screw holes do not line up with existing SX bass bridge holes" so it may not work.

I have bought one of those SX high mass bridges before, and I can confirm that the holes do NOT match up to standard Fender bridge hole spacing.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. That said, I did like the bridge...it weighed more than me!

Unless for some reason you are really jonesing for a high mass bridge, I wouldn't bother. Regardless of how cheap it is, I think the hassle involved installing it would not be worth the possibly dubious benefits.

No. If you want "cheapest" and "high mass" and "Fender replacement," you want this:

^ Can't argue with the price on that bridge. Probably worth a try at that price.

I just installed one of these on my MIM P.

Fit and spacing was perfect. Changed it out in about 10 minutes with strings. I'm very happy with it as it's not too chunky looking and definitely adds sustain. It also helped the dead spot on the G string that is so typical.

Anyone own the 14$ bridge from that site? with as cheap as it is it seems like a good deal but with most stuff the low price doesnt exactly mean its quality is good too. I have been toying with the idea of replacing my p bass bridge although i have a ba2 and i threw that on there and it got extremely twangy and i couldnt figure out why putting the stock bridge back on fixed the problem.

I've heard similar stories. Someone thinks that replacing the stock bridge on their "cheap" bass with a supossedly better aftermarket replacement will improve the sustain/tone of their bass, and when they do, they find it has little to no effect whatsoever, and in a couple of cases like the above, made it worse. They inevitably change it back to the original. That's why I won't be changing the bridge on either my SX or my Squier, the stock ones seem perfectly fine, and I feel it would be a waste of time and money. I'm not gonna do it just because some people think it's "the thing to do". And as far as the OP's question, if anything, changing out the bridge of a MIM Fender for an SX bridge could be viewed as a step backwards.
