Would you put up with this? refret content

Okay, I purchased a neck from a reputable maker, the first neck was twisted and I waited 16 weeks for a replacement as they kept making mistakes with my order and replacement. I finally get the replacement after complaining and while it was much better than the first neck the fretboard radius was wrong (12" was supposed to be 10") and there was so much rise in the heal of the board (maker was supposed to have fall away in board above 12th fret) and the (vintage 6230) frets where so unlevel there wasn't going to be much left of the frets after leveling (it's like it had a second relief between the 12th and 20th fret if that makes sense). I sent the neck back and ask that they level the board, and refret it.

After six weeks I got the neck back and it had a red stain in the finish that wrapped around the neck that had to be sanded out, the fret board was chipped here and there and some a few of the holes were patched with some soft white chalky stuff, and they didn't bother filling the the fret slots, some of which are much deeper than others. It also has small chips gouges in the side of the board and the headstock that I'd already clear coated.

I've had necks refretted before but never got one back looking like this. I paid $275.00 for this neck and while I can clean all this up myself I guess I just don't find this acceptable. Would you guys put up with this?

The pics of the board are after I cleaned it. Here is a pic of the stain though I had already cleaned it with naptha and sanded most of it off.

What are they a "reputable maker" of - plywood shipping crates?

They should have been too embarrassed to send you that thing...

Personally, I would just send it back again and get a full refund. That thing is pointless... no "new" neck should have chips like that.

Did you say "reputable"? That necks looks worse than you'd find on a Squier Affinity... full refund, go buy something else.

Nope. You bought a new neck, and nothing about that screams "new" to me. After 6 months of BS, it's unacceptable. Get your money back and go somewhere else.

Yes, this must be right. That neck looks like it had to come from one of the more struggling to succeed makers of fake brand name basses. Lol.

OP should say the the name of the company. Curiosity got the best of me and the fact that I'm in the market for a neck scares me.

Honestly I'm not here to bash anyone and as I've seen a thread go bad on a similar topic I hesitate to say. My main purpose for the post was just to see if I'm being reasonable in my expectations. Not trying to be unhelpful but I know there are many satisfied customers of this company here on TB, unfortunately my experience has been very negative.
