After having proven my stupidity by cross-threading and stripping out a bridge saddle on my Valenti Fretless, I called Hipshot to order a new bolt and saddle.
Not only did they send parts out same day, but they refused to charge me.
I have done my own setups for many years, but I learned two new things today.
1) lower the action set screws before installing a saddle on an "A style" Hipshot Bridge.
2) Hipshot has great cutomer service.
