X-Factor Bridge Slipping

Anybody have a problem with their Kubicki X-Factor Bridge/tuners slipping? Boy, i'd love to solve this problem without shipping my bass to California (I'm on the East Coast). G string wheel slips before i can get it to pitch. Any Ideas?

what do you mean it slips? This is what i do, I put the string in the wheel. Put an extra bend to lock it it the wheel. Then i rotate the wheel till the string is not loose anymore ( i do this without putting it on the bridge saddle). turn the wheel as far as you can. Then after put the string on top of the saddle. Now start tuning to desired pitch

I turn the sprocket wheel as far as i can before using the tuner knob, then after 3 or 4 revolutions of the knob the sprocket wheel unratchets and slips the pitch back down a fourth or so. I called phillip and he said to just send in the bridge/tuner so i dont have to send the whole bass. Whew.

Phil is the best ---it's like talking to Leo--he has the history [Fender A&R, Harrisons Telecaster-ect] --and when he talks with you ,it's like has has all the time in the world.
