Hi all,
even if I have been a TB user since 2003, I never posted a thread.
I need help from the community for this issue:
I recently purchased an used Yamaha BB5000, and I noticed that the B machine head doesn't keep the string perfectly in tune (30 min playing are enough to face this problem). I tried to adjust the tuning with the concentric ring, but no way, the tuning just don't last.
Is there any possibility to let me know the model of this kind of tuners (gold, elephant ear tuners), or a direct replacement model?
Thank you all. |

Thank you all. | Welcome to your first posting!
I changed your thread title slightly for accuracy. Good luck!

Also, are there brand new strings on the bass? If so, they still might need to be fully "stretched out", before settling in.
I owned a BB5000 & never experienced any problems such as yours.
Good luck!

Strings are quite used, never changed them. |

Replacing all 5 keys may be a good idee

After a string change and a adjustment-ring quick setup for the Bstring, I must admit that problem seems to be solved.
