Yamaha RBX 375 setup question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi I recently bought a used Yamaha RBX 375 pretty much brand new and i was wondering if i should bring it to get a proper setup from the music store. I'm not sure if the previous owner did anything setup wise to it... Thanks in advance

Hi, I always perform a full setup on every bass I buy, be it used or brand new.
Most basses really benefit from this especially after being sat in a shop for months.

Try speaking to a local tech to see if you can have it set up properly, it makes all further maintenance adjustments minor and so much easier.

Well the original owner bought it just a few weeks before and didn't think that a five string was his thing so he sold it to me since I was looking for one

Trust me, that doesn't mean that it has been properly set up.
