Yamaha RBX-765A with Hipshot tuners?

I've had this bass for years (and it was bought used) and the gold hardware is starting deteriorate a little. I can't polish it up any because the gold is chipping off.

Bestbassgear.com has all kinds of new hardware for cheap, and I've already found the replacement tuners and control knobs. My only concern now is the bridge.

Would I be able to put the individual string Hipshot bridge on this bass? Or should I got with the classic Hipshot A bridge?

I've always liked the individiual Hipshot tuners on the Ibanez BTB models (mainly the prestige models ). But, the Hipshot A bridges are very nice and they are the same price.

This in gold:

I don't think it matters a lot, but I play in different tunings from standard to G sharp.

Would one be more beneficial than the other.
