Aguilar AGRO

Sign in to disble this ad
Aguilar Agro, basically the second channel of the Aguilar AG500, only made in a convenient and small package.

Picture is not from my AGRO, my girlfriend has taken control of my camera..

From the Agie website:
The AGRO is a saturation circuit that can be used to create the full range of bass distortion. Tones range from tube-like growl to insane overdrive without losing low end. The AGRO’s three band shelving EQ, contour and presence controls make it simple to shape your sound. Set the AGRO up as an effect unit or use it as a preamp. The AGRO features Instrument level in, line/instrument level out, and an additional line output. Includes footswitch and rack ears.

This unit is only three months old, bought new at Bassmatters in Nijmegen (still has waranty). The AGRO is one of the best and most beautifull overdrive / pre-amp unit, but I prefer a pedal sized overdrive. Including power supply.

Price: € 250,- / GBP 240,- / $ 325,- , Paypal accepted, so you can use your creditcard, and worry about the payment next month..
Possible trade
- Tonehammer + some cash?
- EBS MicroBass II (clean trade)
- Something interesting

To be tested in Zevenbergen, the Netherlands. Shipping no problem, it weighs next to nothing. For a security check, please check my comments, or on ebay as 'lonnystingray'..

What kind of power supply does it use? I'm not familiar with the electrical current etc in the Netherlands. (I live in Norway.)

Also, would you perhaps be interested in a Hematoma OD pedal as a partial trade?

I just checked with a colleague in Norway, the voltage and alternation is similar between the Netherlands and Norway.

The power adapter is mandatory, since the AGRO only works on 24 volts..

To be honest, not really, as I already am using a Fulltone Bassdriver, and a Malekko B:assmaster for overdive / distortion..

Great! Do you know if the outlets (on the wall) are similar enough as well, or will a converter be needed?

The outlets are similar, just like the power that's coming out of it.

You guys are just smart enough to keep out of the European Union, for all the rest we are pretty similar..

Nearly Friday bump! I have had some interest, but nothing substantial.. Is the love for the AGRO unit gone on Talkbass, I know we all were very interested before it was available, and the only negative subject I have seen is the not-in-pedal-size availability of the AGRO..

But I am open for any attractive offers, the most negative I can reply is "no".. I have been interested more and more in the EBS Microbass II, so if anyone would like a clean trade of..

Hi Irvin

I received your PM, and I PM-ed you back.. I am checking with a friend what a Prunes & Custard is all about, although I don't really think it's my cup of tea..
