The amp came from USA with the original 110 volts output transformer. Some of these could be rewired to operate at 220 volts, some don't. Unfortunately for me it was the second case, so I had to buy this:

Fliptops

My amp tech replaced the 110 volt output transformer with it and now the amp is ready to rock in every part of the world that use 220 volts, Belgium included!

30 watts vs 100? Pull the trigger on the "baby SVT"!
Seriously, do your homework and see the general TB consensus on the V4B.

Homework done... that's why I'm still hesitating

I'm really lookin' for a small amp for practise at home and for recording... for that I'm sure the B15 is perfect...

100w is way too loud for practising at home and not loud enough for me playin' in my band... (yes, we're playin' very loud and I don't want any drive on my bass sound). For that I have a Morgan 200w and it's perfect!

BUT as I've read a lot about the V4, I know it's a very good amp and I'd like to have one (but a 30w amp is just perfect for my use... even 20w is enough... I want a fantastic amp to play at home at low level, that's the place I'm playin' the most and with a 100w amp, I won't get the best of the amp)

Don't want to push you but if clean tone is your requirements you'll be' good with the amp. Just use wisely the volume knob.
Later you can also discover how loud are the V4B 100 watts. I won't be' surprised if you will cut through your band mix even without pushing the amp into overdrive.
That said, make your choice. I would lie if I'd say the B15 isn't a good choice too.

what will be shipping price to Belgium with a serious shipping company? (UPS would be great!)

I guess the amp never get a good recap job?

As you see I'm one step further and try to evaluate my final cost and see if it worth it!

Power tubes are a fresh matched set of Tung-Sols 6L6GC.
The amp was totally checked by my amp tech about 1 year ago when I got it. No need for a recap job. Everything was perfect. He just installed the 220 volts output transformer and flipped the Tung-Sols in.
Check you PMs

I've bought a B15N here on TB and it sounds damn good!

BTW still have some cash... I'll pay for shipping but what's your last price for the V4B?

I'm sorry but there is no such a thing like a "last price" for this amp. Price is listed on the first post and it won't be lowered. Those amps will only increase in value with time. Under this price tag I could be perfectly happy keeping it.
