FT/FS Radial Tonebone Sadowski pre-di and Aural Enhancer (Aust)

Now for trade too. Didn't sell on ebay happy to consider anyting. Perhaps along with my Sadowski pre-di and a Aural Enhancer pre-di - now my ebs microbass II has turned up it covers all the things these pedals do.

What ya got? I would like to try out an ebs bass synth or some kind a ring modulator. I also need another good quality gig bag or hard case. A small combo amp would be usefull as my daughter is starting to play bass when she recieves her Christmas present.

Back to your previously scheduled thread...

It seems I've been ripped off on a bass deal and need some cash. This is a great unit. Unfortunately it gets so little action since my Sadowski pre-di come into the picture and I now only have one bass so my intention of switching between two basses seems a little redundant.
Original box and a 'reprinted from online' manual comes with a 240 volt power suply.
Very good to excellent condition. Some small scratching and scuff marks almost none through the paint. Happy to send more pics.

AUD$300 shipped registered and insured in Australia, Paypal is fine with e-cheque option. Happy to discuss postage options for anyone over the water in NZ or elsewhere. Happy to offer a pickup and pay less discount. I am located in Newcastle NSW.
These retail from AU$449-499 over here so this is a bargain. A very good unit particularly if you want to switch between two different sounding basses - URB, fretless, fretted, active or passive.

bass never arrived and paypal only managed to squeeze $65 out of him when I payed $1100. Paypal will refund more if he ever uses his account again - likelyhood of that: never.

Hope somebody wants it, I thought 300 quite reasonable.

Wish i could sweeten it for you but that is my lowest price. Looking at your basses in your profile it would be a great unit to switch between any of them. I find it to be fairly neutrally voiced (as apposed to my sadowski pre-di and the various sansamps ive tried)so the different tones from your different basses should come through nicely.

Yeah it'd be nice. It'd help a lot for those gigs where I'm playing both electric and double bass, not to mention owning a decent DI..I'll be in touch with you as soon as I work out whether I can afford it...Really want it though.

Would love to do that but can't. I didn't get this at a discount price I bought it second hand from the states. By the time I paid for it and went through the conversion rate and then had it posted to me and then bought an Aussie power adapter for it I think I'm making about $7 profit here which will be lost through postage to the buyer and to possible paypal fees. I'm not trying to play the market here I just picked my break even price and thought someone would find it a reasonable price. Either way I'm afraid the price is firm. I'd rather keep it and continue saving for another bass.
Surely with the basses in your profile you'd have a hankering for something like this?

I just read that the input impedance is 470kOhms. My double bass needs at least 1M Ohm, so the BassBone is now off the list.

Bugger eh. I had thought a lot of bouble bassists use them. I do secretly want to keep it anyway, so maybe its for the best.

Any active double bass pickup doesn't need the high input impedance to get a full sound, but mine's passive and could use some help!

+1 I just purchased a double bass with a realist and the tone isn't working out for me straight into my GK + Berg rig so I won't have the money for this after I purchase a double bass preamp

I know this is somewhat OT but it is my thread... would something like a sadowski pre-di or a sansamp paradriver or bassdriver or the aguilar outboard preamp (db924?) help with the passive bass pickups in your URBs?

Quite possibly. I'm looking at Francis Deck's HPF Pre which seems to do all that's needed.

Its looking like I was not ripped off and could be recieving the afore mentioned bass within a week or two.

Have a bunch of stuff for trade now that I have an ebs microbass II. Looking to unload the radial tonebone, Sadowski pre-di, Aphex Bass exciter aural enhancer pre-di. Refer to the beginnning of my first post.

Thanks for looking.

Spose to put prices up ebven for a trade so some rough ones are...
Tonebone $250
Sadowski $250
Bass Exciter $150
Prices AUD$

Looking for a good padded soft case, hard case, small combo amp, ring modulator or bass synth or other cool effect, cheap (SX) 5 string lined fretless, decent quality mic as I have just started mucking around with a snakelight and audacity, throw anything at me all I can say is no.
I will post some pics tomorrow of sadowski and bass exciter.
