F/S (AUS): Bacchus Custom 70s Jazz w/ Audere Preamp

New thread, same bass. The bass is now equipped with an Audere 2-band preamp w/ active blend control, as well as Hipshot Ultralite tuners (original tuners were causing neck dive, now fixed). I will include the original (Gotoh) tuners, and original (passive) electronics also.

This is a KILLER Jazz, nails that 70's tone (ala Marcus), and is very versatile with the Audere preamp. The EQ is extremely useable all the way to maximum boost (preamp is boost/cut). Plays great with a straight neck and low action. The neck has a lovely satin-esque finish which feels great. For those of you that don't know, the Bacchus handmade series are all hand crafted in Japan using old methods similar to Fender back in the day. I had this bass special-ordered from their custom shop. The quality is impeccable, think Sadowsky, but half the price. Ultimately, I've decided the tone isn't me. I'm using my P-bass-esque LeCompte primarily, and plan on picking up a Squier 50's Precision for backup.

I need to mention, the bass is not in immaculate condition, there a few dings here and there. I've tried to photograph them all. There are also some light surface scratches on the back of the bass (and a few lighter ones on the front) which I couldn't clearly photograph. Let's just say nitro finish and button-up shirt don't mix too well. Of course, none of these effect the playability whatsoever. If you're into keeping your basses in pristine condition, then I'd look elsewhere. This is a players bass!

Specs:

Ash body
1-piece maple neck
Maple fretboard w/ MOP inlays and white binding
Black nitro-cellulose finish
3-ply Black pickguard (will include 3-ply White pickguard also)
Bacchus single-coils, passive electronics (now w/ Audere preamp)
Gotoh 203-B bridge
Gotoh GB-2 tuners (now Hipshot Ultralites)

I'll also post the bass with a really nice Bacchus gigbag pictured below.

Pics:

With the upgrades (Over $400 (AUD) value) I'm gonna let it go for $1650 AUD + postage (via Australia Post, neck unbolted, cheap and easy).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS NO PROBLEMO!

Thanks for looking!
