Fodera Monarch 4 New Standard Bass - As New!

This instrument is a 2005 model but is unmarked and in 'as new' condition.
It's never been gigged or out of the house and only ever played at low volume through an Ampeg B-15 at 1/4 volume.
I doubt you'll play a finer neck than a Fodera. The whole instrument is first-class craftsmanship.

Mahogany body with flame maple top
Bolt-on 34" scale maple neck with 24 large frets
Rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl dots
EMG PJ pickups
2 band 18v Fodera Pope preamp
Controls: master volume, pickup balance, bass, treble with push/pull on volume to bypass (passive)
Fodera hardshell case
Fodera toolkit
Fodera light-medium stainless strings (extra set)

"We realize that long lead times can be difficult for our valued customers. To address this, each month we will be committing to delivering a small number of basses built to our most often requested specification. These will be a mixture of four string Monarchs and five string Emperors. Each instrument will be of a handcrafted, bolt-on design and will include a very limited number of options. This will allow us to produce them in a little less time than our custom line of basses. The major difference being that the necks and bodies will be carved collectively rather than on an individual, customer-specific basis. As always, these instruments will be of the absolute highest quality and will be crafted from our extensive selection of aged woods."

Might suit an Australian buyer best as these instruments are like hen's teeth and you have to consider shipping, customs, duty, exchange rates and GST (tax) - as well as avoiding the Fodera build time of course.
Willing to ship to North America and Europe also.

Not exactly sure what these instruments cost new these days or the build time. I do know by the time it's imported into Oz the price has jumped quite a lot.
I'd be very interested what TB'ers can advise please.

I'm looking at $4,500 USD which is around $5,000 AUD these days. It really could be sold as a brand new instrument.

Sale only thanks.

Will ship as soon as possible once funds have been received.
Shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the buyer.
Bass weighs 3.9kg/8.6lb with case 5.2kg/11.4lb making 9.1 kg/20.0lb total.
