Selling my Aguilar DB359 all-tube 200W amp. Has just been in the service and works like a charm ! Has 2 new JJ ECC25 tubes. I could provide NOS Tesla, GE or Philips tubes as well, but the JJs work fine. Power switch has been replaced by the previous owner I think.
This is the one and only all-tube amp I would recommend to transistor lovers also. It provides the world-class Aguilar tube tone with the heart-warming growl combined with a bright attack. This amp is discontinued now and available only in the 2nd hand market.
Built like a tank ---- and heavy like one... about 20 kg.... too heavy for me, so it has to go. I'll keep my DB680 instead.
Asking 1.400 Euro plus s/h (expensive ! local pickup prefered!).
Trades considered:
Sadowsky or Fender Jazz 4 stringers with 70s pickup positions.
