You might not recognize this, but this is a Yamaha BB1200S built in the 1980s in Japan. This is the upscale model with neck-through (no bolted-on neck, see pictures) and the additional active circuit.
The previous owner re-finished the entire bass and re-shaped the headstock to be able to install original Schaller tuners. Technically, he did a very good job, but the bass has a very "special" look to it now - which is why I'm willing to let it go really cheap, for about 1/5 of what these classic early BBs with their great rock sound usually go for:
175.- plus shipping (15.- to Germany, 25.- to most European countries).
