Hi, after very, very long debating I decided to sell my F-Bass Studio 5. It is a killer bass, but nowadays I play almost exclusively my four-string Moon JJ4, so this one deserves to be played by someone else.
It has very organic J tone, the playability is amazing as well as the overall ergonomics. Action can be set very low. The weight is exactly 9 pounds.
The preamp is very musical and versatile, can get usable tones within the entire travel of the knobs (handmade from ebony - btw)
You can feel it is a truly boutique handmade instrument. Resembles more some violoncello or some classic music instrument than a slab of bass guitar..

It was made in 2000, and as you can see by the worn lacquer on the bridge pickup, it was well played and loved
The colour name is Transparent Purple (according to George Furlanetto). You can see the slight ceruse finish through the lacquer.
The pics are making the colour lighter than it is. In real life conditions in club/stage it looks almost black. Very elegant
