Came to me in a trade, but the more I play them, the more I'm convinced I'm an MTD guy now.
I've had 4 different FBasses now, and I have to say that the basic ash/maple that this bass has is my favourite tone wood combo. Very, very, Marcus/70's JB. The fretboard is birdseye maple though, so not entirely basic.
George's electronics package gets lots of praise for a reason... Both the pickups and the pre and very intuitive, powerful and musical. vol-vol-tone-bas-mid-tre, pull for humbucking mode, pull for passive mode.
Overall the bass is in good condition, with play wear on the finish and frets. The bass was made in 2007. The sides of the headstock have been signed by Anthony Wellington and Victor Wooten. I personally get a really low action on this bass without any buzzing whatsoever, but would probably get a fret polish in the long run, being the perfectionist I am.
34,5" scale, 19 mm spacing at bridge.
Comes with F-Bass light case/gig bag hybrid or, if the shipping rules demand, in a high quality Mooradian double gig bag. I think this bass had some different glue or something, because the glue is dark, creating a dramatic highlight between the maple neck and board.

Asking EUR1900/USD2500 shipped to most EU destinations, shipping to US/Asia varies a lot, but hopefully can find cheap enough shipping that I can include that. In the worst case, USD2400 plus shipping.
