I set this up with new Fender US electronics, Lindy Fralin pickups and flatwound strings to be the ultimate Motown/Funk machine - and it delivers. The darkened maple on the headstock and the back of the neck as well as the slight mojo on the tuning make this bass look like an original 62 - and you get both the build quality and the sound of a 62 Precision at the fraction of the price!
