FS: Fodera Monarch Deluxe

Due to a recent move back to Denmark from a few years of working in China, I need funds for a downpayment on rent ASAP. My best chance of getting those are by letting my fabulous Fodera go, even though it kills me - but enough of my tears, here's the bass:









It's basically a Victor Wooten model, but with dots instead of arrows at 12th/24th frets, and with a Kingwood upgrade for the fretboard.

It has the Pope preamp (not the new model, as the bass is from around 2006).

Nothing much else to say - the bass is in perfect condition, I'd be hard pressed to find any scratches on the top, and there are only a few very minor dents and coating scratches on the back. It comes in the original Fodera case.

Asking 4,000 Euros, not including shipping or other costs. I'm not interested in offers or trades of any kind.

If you are in Denmark, I'd be very happy to arrange for you to try the bass, which I will definitely recommend if you haven't played a bass like this before. Playability is out of this world.

I'll naturally ship to anywhere in the world, but the price of course makes most sense within the tax & duty walls of EU, which is why I expect most interest to come from here.
That said, these basses are few and far between, with build times around 3-4 years at the moment, and they are not ready available with kingwood fretboards.

Note that if you are in the EU, you could probably save money by taking a return flight to Denmark instead of paying for courier shipping, and that way you could give the bass a test run before paying for it.

Please also note that I'm moving to Southern Sweden in 2 weeks (hopefully), only half an hour by train from Copenhagen Airport.
