Up for sale is E26605, a Lava Pearl StingRay 4 HS with rosewood fretboard and matching headstock, born on the 1st of March in 2006.
This bass has been half around the globe with me: I've played it on about 20 gigs in Switzerland and on the Philippines and took it to several rehearsals. The bass is in good overall condition. It has several small scratches and dings on the headstock, on the edges of the body and on the top next to the bridge. The most notable, which is almost impossible to photograph, is a dent and crack in the clearcoat straight above the 21st fret, about 2cm from edge of the body, which happened during shipment when the volume knob came loose and bounced around in the case. There is no buckle rash at the back of the body. Some of the dings go through to the body wood, but none of them are noticeable from a distance of over 2 meters.
This bass is a great workhorse player with a deep full sound. The neck is smooth with medium low action. The bass weights around 4,6 kg. I have installed Dunlop Strap Locks and a Hipshopt D-Tuner. The bass will be restored to original before shipping, or shipped as is with the original parts included.
