In Europe we pay 22,75 % import tax + about 200-300 USD shipment for importing a US bass. So every US bass appears in Europe at about the same price in EUR as in US in USD.
Back to US you would again pay import tax + shipment - resulting in about 50% price increase compared to a local BT5 sale.
Sorry - once a bass is in EU it doesn't seem to be reasonable to ship back to US... |

I can't offer legal counsel about this, we would need to find an american lawyer for that. |

Asking 3.200,- EUR +s/h Pics | I was interested in this bass till i worked out the price!!!3.200 EUR works to £2.800 UK pounds, ive seen BT's go for £1800 up to £2000 and that's from a bass shop,i think you need to work out a fair price if you want to sell this,it's a lovely bass, but just too expensive!good luck.

| I remember that the GBP 2 EUR exchange ratio has been changed dramatically towards a lower GBP value. Good for me if I buy something from UK. Bad for you the other way around.
But anyway: I really love this bass, but I'm well sorted in Smiths, so I am ready to sell it, but it will go for a good price because it is worth it (at least for me). If it doesn't go - no problem...
This particular BT5 is magic - I owned several Smiths and this one rolls and pumps so wonderful... and Ken never builds such nice necks anymore... |

| For now I am looking to get cash for the bass, as I have just done a huge trade with 3 other high end basses against a Fodera and a 65 Jazz... So I'd like to spend some time in this new basses first before gasing for other ones.
The Pedullas are great basses, especially the fretless ones. However, I am actually sorted in fretless basses... sorry.
Good luck. |
