OK guys - this pains me!
This has been a long and hard decisions to make, however...

Up for sale is my Mailloux SCJC 6 string.
This bass was the result of a lot of collaboration with the man himself, Phillipe Mailloux (http://www.maillouxbasses.com/). Made in Brisbane, Australia.
I literally love everything about this bass... apart from the fact it's got 6 strings.
Over my time away from the 6 I used a 5 string all the time - and I loved the simplicity of it. Just can't get back into the 6er anymore.

This bass sounds amazing, and is pretty much fully optioned - no holds barred!

The build thread for this bass is here (tons of photos inside):
http://www.ozbassforum.com/viewtopic...st=0&sk=t&sd=a
The basic specs are:
- Walnut body
- 5 piece Maple/Purpleheart neck thru
- master grade flamed Tasmanian Blackwood top (exotic Australian wood - closely related to Koa)
- Gabon ebony fretboard (no dying!)
- 26 frets (banjo frets)
- 17mm spacing
- 33" scale
- Hipshot hardware
- custom dual coil pickups w/ebony covers made by Phil
- Mike Pope onboard pre (this alone costs around $500 USD)
- gabon ebony ramp

A video can be viewed here.

Still in MINT condition! Only 4 months old.
Wanting $2350 USD + shipping.

Thanks.
