Up for sale is a mid 90's Fender P bass basswood body in Lake Placid Blue.According to the prior owner, mtonbass, this came off a MIJ Foto Flame P Bass and was recently refinished by Marty Bell. It is stunning. The neck pocket is cut to accommodate a jazz bass dimensions neck. There is a small chip near the neck pocket on the lower horn side as you can see in the pictures and also some very minor finish checking that is barely seeable.
This basswood body is a good choice if you want to play a lighter bass ,since its weight is less than alder and ash bodies, without compromising your tone. You can check a video comparison of the tone of the body next to a regular alder body

It is also pretty cool if you want to build a precision/jazz hybrid because of the neck pocket dimensions. Personally I would definitely considering throwing a Jazz pickup at the bridge position.
The body comes with the Original Strap Buttons and if you are a good puppy maybe I will throw in a standard bridge for you.
