For sale I have mesa boogie basis m-2000 amp with new preamp tubes. Great condition, operates on 220V, very loud, comes with footswitch and rack case. 1000 eur + shipping. Possible trade for walkabout unit. db680 is now for sale in separate thread.

Decided to keep mesa for now, it's not for sale anymore (at least until I get a walkabout).

This is now available again and for good. Aguilar has gone, basis m-2000 is up for 900 eur + shipping (worldwide). Footswitch is included, the amp is very loud, with tons of tweaking options and in great condition, it isn't even scratched!

You speak of a treble problem with the tube channel (I believe) in another thread. Has this been fixed?

Hi, I tried it with different cabs since that thread and it turned out it didn't match with my cabinet; it works really good with ampeg and peavey cabs (at least those I tried) but if your speakers (10") cover high frequencies as well it might not be for you. The effect can be tamed a little using parametric eq. Obviously the problem was not faulty amp but bad combo. Unfortunately it doesn't match well with my new cab as well and it has too many knobs for me anyway.

Berg ae410. Quite similar to mesa powerhouse 410 I had before, they both have that upper mid/low treble clarity, too much for my taste to pair with basis 2000.

Hm. I just bought a Mesa Powerhouse 8x10. Is it a personal preference thing or something everyone would find objectionable? I have a Walkabout, could you make a soundclip (using the mesa 4x10)?

I don't have powerhouse 410 anymore. I really liked it with walkabout though. I don't know, if your cab doesn't have a frequency gap between tweeter and other speakers I wouldn't recommend the amp. If you can cut off high freqs with attenuating the tweeter it will be fine.

800 eur + shipping. Trades only for m-pulse 600, maybe for walkabout 112 combo as well (cash your way).
